Celebrated Margate restaurant Angela’s bring a taste of the Kent coast to Leytonstone.
On Saturday 14th November, our good friends and the team behind Angela’s in Margate; Lee, Charlotte and Chef Rob, will be taking over Filly Brook for a one-off special event.
Known for their sustainably caught seafood, seasonal vegetable dishes and thoughtful approach to sourcing, Angela’s will be bringing a little taste of Margate to Leytonstone, with a menu celebrating the best of what’s local, seasonal and available that week.
And it won’t just be the food making the journey from the coast. Expect Margate drinks and music too; beers from our friends at Floc and Xylo, wine from Margate Wine and Traverse plus dj Rosy Ross alongside Chef Rob who will swop the pans for the decks once he's finished service.
It will be a full FB takeover and a chance to celebrate good food, good people and the independent places that make eating and drinking out so special.
We couldn’t be happier to welcome the Angela’s crew into the Filly kitchen and share what promises to be a brilliant evening.

John Dory, Sprouting Broccoli, Cider & Smoked Cheek Veloute

Quince & Apple Crumble, Crème Anglaise
*All fish is subject to change due to the fish not responding to a fishermans demands to be caught!

Margate Mushrooms On Toast

Due to the nature of this event advance reservations are essential and can be made through the Filly Brook website at either 6pm, 6.30pm, 8.30pm or 9pm.
Fish or Vegetarian menus must be selected and paid for at the time of booking. Fish is subject to change depending on what the fishermen catch.
Unfortunately we are unable to cater for specific dietery requirements.
8.30pm and 9pm bookings are welcome to stay on the table through to midnight close.
Bookings close at 9am on Thursday 12th Nov to allow for menu sourcing.
Walkins for drinks only are welcome but space is subject to table availability.
